This Privacy Policy explains how Amogh AI CCTV ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Amogh USB Camera mobile app and its online service (the "App"). The App shows, records and streams video from a USB camera connected to your Android phone, and can run AI features (motion, faces, people, vehicles, number plates, product counting) on the phone.
1. Information we collect
- Mobile number - to log you in with a one-time password (OTP) sent on WhatsApp.
- Profile - name, business name, email and city, only if you type them.
- Camera list - the model name, maker and USB vendor/product numbers of the USB cameras you connect, and the names you give them.
- AI event log - short text records such as "Motion", the name of a person you enrolled, a count, or a number plate text, with time and camera name.
- App settings backup - your display and AI settings.
2. What stays only on your phone
Live video, photos, recordings, face photos and product photos you enroll, and face/product recognition data are processed and stored only on your phone. They are never uploaded to our servers. The live stream feature (MJPEG over HTTP) sends video only inside your own Wi-Fi network to the devices you open it on.
3. Phone permissions
- Camera / USB device - to open the USB camera you plug in.
- Internet / Wi-Fi - to log in, save your data and run the local live stream.
- App storage - to save photos and recordings on your phone.
4. How we use information
Only to run the App: log you in, show your profile, camera list and AI event history, back up your settings, prevent misuse and give support. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
5. Sharing
Your mobile number and the OTP are passed to our WhatsApp messaging provider only to deliver the OTP. Our servers are hosted with a cloud hosting provider in a secure data centre. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
6. Face data and people around you
If you use face recognition, you must have the consent of the people you enroll and follow local law about video recording. Face data never leaves your phone.
7. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Each part of the service keeps its own separate database. OTPs are stored only as one-way hashes and expire in 3 minutes.
8. How long we keep it
AI event records are deleted automatically after 90 days. Other data stays until you delete it or your account.
9. Your rights and account deletion
You can edit your profile, clear the AI event log, remove cameras, or delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the App, or as explained on the Delete Account page. Deleting your account removes all of your data from our servers.
10. Children
The App is not meant for children under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy; the date above will change. Using the App after a change means you accept it.
